Wildflower Meadow meets washi tape

This is the last of my wildflower meadow cards for now.  This time I just used the embossing folder. I made the flowers and butterflie by putting some washi tape on card then punching it out.  I love washi tape, I haven't really used it before but I am sure you are going to see it a lot more on my blog!
Here's my card:
Here is a close up of the flowers.

Wildflower Meadow #4

Yet another card using the wildflower meadow background stamp.  This time it has quite a bold look as I have used some bold colours, pacific point and one of the new colours from the colour renovation crushed curry. I didn't think I would like crushed curry as I'm not really a 'yellow' person, but I love it, I think it was the name that put me off, I think it should be called  sweet butter scotch instead!  Here is my card:
I used the oval framelits to make a frame and used the matching embossing folder on the background card.

Wildflower Meadow #3

Another Wildflower Meadow card, this time I stamped the image onto burnt brown sugar card using whisper white ink.  Leave it to dry then colour in using aqua painters and ink pads, I used the new incolours. I embossed it again using the matching folder.  Here is the card:

I haven't added a sentiment yet as I thought I would leave it till I knew who I was sending it too.

Stampin' Up! Wildflower Meadow

Here is another card I made using the Wildflower Meadow background stamp.  This time I stamped the image in smoky slate then coloured over it using marker pens, this worked best using light colours.  I got this idea off Karen Titus.
I used blushing bride, pool party and so safron marker pens to colour in the flowers. The sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes stamp set and I used another simply pressed clay flower.  I have a few more cards to show you using this stamp over the next few days.  If you would like to purchase it just send me an email.  It costs £12.95 in clear and £15.95 in wood mount or you can buy it as a bundle with the matching embossing folder for £17.25 clear or £19.95 wood.

Wildflower Meadow Make and Take

Sorry I have been absent from blogland again. I thought I would share with you the card everyone made at my launch party. We used the gorgeous wildflower meadow background stamp, this is a great stamp for making very quick cards, it has a matching embossing folder.
This is the card we made:
The colours are from this years in colours, coastal cabana and crisp cantaloupe. The flower is made using simply pressed clay and the flower mould, (I made these in advance as they do need to dry overnight), coloured with crisp cantaloupe using an aqua painter. I used itty bitty banners stamp set for the sentiment and punched some trim using my old favourite dotted scallop ribbon border punch.
I showed everyone a jazzed up version, I embossed after I stamped using the matching embossing folder and added some pearls.
 Here are both cards together.
I love this stamp, it is so pretty and there are a lot of things you can do with it. You can make a card so quickly as well if you are in a hurry!
