Triple Time Stamping and Delicate Doilies

In our last class we made three cards using the delicate doilies stamp set to show how versatile the set is. This one uses a technique I have seen a lot on blogland lately. It's been called triple time stamping although there may be other names, here's a tutorial. I used  melon mambo/pink pirouette colour scheme and the sentiment is from teeny tiny wishes.

I love it because it looks really time consuming but you actually stamp the three layers at once, you get a faint outline on the edges but this is hidden once you mount it. I stamped a scrap of whisper white and punched out the butterfly and added some rhinestones for bling.

Beau Château Album

I spent a lovely Saturday last week making up a 6x6 album in our Beau Château Class.  I'm not really a scrap booker but Stampin' Up 6x6 albums are small enough not to be scary! I made a Nursery Nest album but I will show you that another time as I  haven't taken any photo's yet.  This is the Beau Château one,  it's picture heavy.

This is the album

Some of the pages are very simple as the Beau Château DSP is gorgeous and you don't need much else. I will show you some more pages tomorrow.

Triple Treat Flower Cascade Card

This is another cascade card I made, this time I used some Beau Château DSP for the background paper and the triple treat flower as I have the matching punches, so this makes it quite quick to make.
The colour scheme is Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette and rose red.  I made a matching display box using the simply scored tool again. If you look on my tutorial page you will find the link to my instructions for cascade box and matching presentation box.

Cascade Card

What, no Attic Boutique?! I thought I would give you a rest, although I do have a few more things to show you another time.  At our very first Wednesday Card Club we made a cascade card.  Usually you use 12"x12" card but I adapted it so that we could use A4 instead.  There aren't as many layers but it still has the WOW factor I think, everyone enjoyed making them.
This is the class sample I made which didn't use any DSP at all. In class we did use DSP though as I thought we wouldn't have time to make it if we all waited for the stamp set.

I used the creative elements stamp set to make the background paper, I love those swirls, I shaded them in using a blender pen and marina mist ink pad. In the class we used Beau Château DSP which went really well, should have taken my camera as people made some lovely cards. I cut out the butterfly  and flower elements out by hand, this kept everyone nice and quiet in class!
We made a box, using the simply scored tool of course, to give the card in.

I will put a link to my cascade card class instructions in the tutorial section if you would like to have a go yourself.

Attic Boutique Gentleman's Case

Here is the last Attic Boutique bag from the class samples.  I made this one into a gentleman's case, it is made in the same way as the ladies handbag but the measurements are slightly different.

I used the Nature Walk stamp set to make the cards, hopefully they are manly!  The colour scheme is pool party and soft suede and I coloured in using the blender pen again. I will show you the other two cards tomorrow.

Apothecary Art and Attic Boutique Cards

The next card is a flip flop card, there is a tutorial here .

FREE Attic Boutique Class Tutorial

A few months ago I did an Inspiration Station at the wonderful Julie's Team Training.  Quite a few people gave me lots of positive comments on the Attic Boutique Handbag and Case and said they would love to buy a tutorial if I made one. As I have enjoyed and benefited from a lot of free tutorials provided by bloggers around the world I felt it would be a bit mean to sell it so I am offering it FREE to any of my followers. Just send me an e-mail here and I will e-mail you back the link. Tried to send my follwers a message with the link on but it wouldn't let me so sorry you will just have to e-mail me!

If you would like a copy but are not a follower then what are you waiting for!  Follow me then  send me an e-mail here and I will send you the link.

Another Attic Boutique Handbag

Here is another handbag that I made with the Attic Boutique DSP.

This time I used the Apothecary Art stamp set with matching label framelits to make the cards.  I made two diorama cards, score an  the A4 card before you cut it in half to save you having to score twice. I think these cards look like you spent ages making them but are actually really quick once you know how!  Here's the link to Stampin' Sally-Jo's tutorial.
The cards are the same but I coloured one in using pool party ink and blender pen, with pool party boho blossom flowers, the other uses daffodil delight.

Recipe
Card/Paper: Pool Party, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Yellow and Whisper White. Attic Boutique DSP
Ink: Crumb Cake, Daffodil Yellow, Pool Party
Stamp Set: Apothecary Art
Punches: Boho Blossom
Accessories: Simply Scored,  Big Shot, Blender Pen, Basic Pearls and label framelits.

Attic Boutique Cards and a little stitching!

Today I will show you the other cards I made to go in the handbag I showed you yesterday .  I used the other side of the DSP and they have a totally different look. The colour way is poppy red and crumb cake and I actually did a bit of stitching using white bakers twine to go with the corsets!

I used the dotted scallop ribbon border punch and sewed cross stitches using baker twine. I love this punch, I think it must be my favourite border punch. Again I used Beautiful Wings embosslit and the Oval All stamp set.

The second card is a gate fold, which is really easy to make using the metric plate on the simply scored because it gives you the 5.25cm score line. I used the Forever Young Stamp set and Designer Frame Embossing Folder.

It's stamped inside as well with the frame and silhouettes images but I forgot to photograph it.

Attic Boutique Handbag

We had a great time on Saturday at the Attic Boutique Class on Saturday. There are a lot of things to show you as everyone got a goody bag full of products including a full pack of Attic Boutique DSP and had lots of projects to choose from.
This is one of the Ladies handbags, it holds four cards and envelopes although you could easily squeeze some more cards in. It's really easy to make using the simply scored. The flower is made using the fancy flower punch.

This is one of the cards I made to go inside, using Oval All stamp set, Edgelits, Beautiful Wings and Boho Blossoms punch.

The second card uses the Forever Young stamp set and designer frame embossing folder. Tomorrow I will show you the other two  cards that make up the set.
