Stampin' Up Summer Mini and Blog Hop

For the first time ever we are having a Summer Mini and to celebrate I am taking part in my first blog hop. So mark the 1st of May in your diary and pop along at 10am! As a Stampin' Up demonstrator we get to see the catalogues early and can pre-order products. There are a lot of demonstrators taking part and they have been busy making some fab projects with the gorgeous products from the mini to help you decide what should go on the top of your wish list and it's going to be a long list believe me!

Stampin' Up Cupcakes!

I thought I should show you all my cup cake creations before the stamps and punch disappear with the spring mini!
I used pretty in pink, bashful blue and so saffron cardstock and ink on a crumb cake base. Very subtle after yesterdays colours. The first card is a little cake shop, although next time I will alter it a bit as you cant see the top cake very well. I used the stripes embossing folder and the little cake stand is made using the scallop trim border punch and decorative label punch.

The second card is a little set of handbags. The handles are made with two different circle punches.

The third card is  a plant pot of flowers in a window, I used the stripes embossing folder again, this time I used it horizontally to make the blind.

Berry Blossoms Cup Cakes

Some more projects we made in our spring mini class.  We made a calorie free Stampin' Up cupcake card. I like the combination with the berry blossom dsp, bright and summery, it is also FREE with a £45 order thi april! The colour way is calypso coral and wisteria wonder.

Again I used the designer frame embossing folder, this time I cut it out to give it a cleaner look. If I do a post with my favourite things I think this folder and the dotted scallop border ribbon punch will definitely be on it!

We also made a matching top note box, this time I used the five petal flower punch and boho blossom punch to decorate the top.

Spice Cake Top Note box

Here is the box we made to match the 'spiced charming' card. Again it uses the gorgeous spice cake designer papers. These boxes are really easy to make once you know how and they make a little gift look really special.

The flower is made using the blossom party die from the spring mini and the boho blossoms punch. Remember the mini is ending on the 30th April so if you love the papers or die you need to place your order now.

Spiced Charming

Finally, a post with a picture! Last night we had our farewell spring mini class, as it's ending on the 30th April. Each lady got a goodbag with some papers out the mini and matching card and ribbon. Here is a card we made with the spice cake papers, (which I love) and the charming stamp set.
The front section of the card is shorter to show off the DSP. I used the designer frames textured embossing folder on the front, here's a close up, the card stock and ink are soft suede and my current favourite pool party. I stamped the pool party images onto scrap first to get a softer effect.
I will show you the matching box tomorrow.

Stampin' Up Spring Mini - The Final Count Down

Sorry for the lack of posts and pictures lately. I have been busy, honest, just can't show you yet but I'm putting together some gorgeous projects from the new Summer Mini, class and event schedule coming soon - watch this space! I have also been making things with products from the Spring Mini before they vanish, remember last date to order from the spring mini is 30th April so just get in touch if you want to order.    Oh, and I've been busy making things for my inspiration station and swaps at the wonderful Julie's Training Day which I went to today, (it was Bril Julie, thanks), so you can see I haven't been idle. I will be posting some pictures soon.
